Big Joel's Safari Petting Zoo and Educational Park is the "zoo made for you" and is the premier animal-based attraction in the area. This is a family-oriented and educational experience you won't soon forget. In addition to our more than 500 animals residents covering well over 60 species and growing, these are some of our other fun attractions here at Big Joel's Safari.

Big Joel's Spooky Safari:
During this time the park is decorated for the Fall and Halloween season. We will have our seasonal attractions open such as our small Cornstalk Maze, Kids Hay Bale Maze, Wagon Rides, Paint a Pumpkin, new photo opportunities, and more. As well as our regular attractions the park.

Big Joel's Safari Spooktacular Celebration:
Big Joel's Safari will be celebrating Halloween with it's Spooktacular Celebration! We will be having door prizes, kid's games & activities, and more. Everyone who wears their costume will receive $1.00 off admission to the park. We will have our Great Pumpkin Give Away! All Big Joel's Spooky Safari and regular attractions will be open as well. The secondary refill station will be open so bring cash. We hope to see you there as this is one of Big Joel's and Mimi's favorite holidays!

From St. Louis: From I-70 take Wright City exit 200. You will go left over the interstate and across the railroad tracks. Turn right onto Highway F. Follow Hwy F to the intersection of Hwy F and Hwy M. At the intersection of Hwy F and Hwy M, take Highway M East (left) a half mile. Big Joel's Safari is located on the left. From Chesterfield: Take Hwy 40 west to I-70 west and follow above directions. or Exit onto Hwy N west over 40 and follow to the intersection of Hwy N, Hwy OO, and Hwy T. Continue to go straight onto Hwy OO. At the end of Hwy OO you will come to Hwy M. Go right onto Hwy M. Big Joel's Safari will be on the right about 3 miles. This is often referred to as the M OO N route. From Kansas City: Take I-70 east to the Wright City exit 199. Turn right towards the South Outer Road. Make a left onto the South Outer Road. Make a right at the stop sign and go over the railroad tracks. Turn right onto Hwy F. Follow Hwy F to the intersection of Hwy F and Hwy M. At the intersection of Hwy F and Hwy M, take Highway M East (left) a half mile. Big Joel's Safari is located on the left. From Washington: Take Hwy 47 north out of Washington and take a right on Hwy O. Stay on Hwy O and then turn left onto Hwy M. Stay on Hwy M and you will see a "2 Miles to Big Joel's Sign". We will be on the right side (you will pass Pumpkins Galore & Cedar Lake Cellars). If you reach Hwy F you have gone too far
